La Villa de l'Amitié / Energy efficiency improvement study

Ste-Julie, QC

The objective of this study was to evaluate the energy performance of the Villa de l'Amitié, a non-profit housing project of 21 apartments, in order to identify measures that could reduce its energy consumption and GHG emissions by 25%.

The evaluation allows us to quantify the energy consumption and heat loss of the existing building in order to prioritize improvements that will have a significant impact on energy efficiency and the well-being of the residents, taking into account planned maintenance work.

The study was conducted under CMHC's National Housing Co-Investment Fund.
